A huge honour: South Woodford park retains its Green Flag status

Elmhurst Gardens in South Woodford is one of nine parks in Redbridge to receive the Green Flag Award this year.

Founded in 1997, the annual award is an internationally recognised marker of high-quality parks and green spaces.

“These flags are a huge honour and a great tribute to the hard work of our parks team at Vision, as well as the local people and volunteers who contribute so much to making our parks places we can all be very proud of,” said the Leader of Redbridge Council, Councillor Jas Athwal.
